Maximum number of pages of booklet that can be placed into a Jewel box: 32 pages made of standard material.
Maximum number of pages of booklet that can be placed into a Slim box: 12 pages made of standard material.
Maximum number of pages of booklet that can be placed into a Multipack box: 48 pages made of standard material.
Maximum number of pages of booklet that can be placed into a 14mm DVD Amaray Style box: 68 pages made of standard material.
Booklets can be placed into some types digipacks marked DCD x/x P-x, DCD x/x S-x, DCD x/x K-x.
The same applies in the case of DVD digipacks. For different types of digipacks there are different options as far as the size of booklets. Therefore, it is always necessary to adapt the size of booklet to a particular type of digipack.
Booklets can be also made in the form of posters. The dimensions of posters are determined by the number of pages and type of folding. Templates are designed individually for a particular type of product and relevant type of folding.

digipacks

Digipack is made of white/white cardboard GC1, thick. 0.48 mm (Arktika 300 g or equivalent) and a plastic tray. The plastic tray can be replaced by an adhesive foam or plastic clip. It is possible to carry out the production of other materials (papers) or of different grammage, too, but it is always necessary to consult the production ahead. This package enables full-colour printing and application of different finishes:

  • coating with shiny or matt machine varnish,
  • application of shiny and matt lamination,
  • application of partial lacquer (PUV).

It is also possible to combine with:

Digipack can be for CD and DVD media, is square or rectangular in shape and can have multiple pages and more trays.
Booklet, which may be part of a digipack, can be inserted into the slot or a pocket with a different design, or glued onto a flap of a digipack.

Note: For long-term storage of CD and DVD, it is especially recommended to use covers in which the writing area of the media is not in contact with another material. Especially simple plastic or paper envelopes are not recommended for long-term storage of discs.

digisleeves

Digisleeve is a cardboard packaging for CD and DVD, which is very similar to a CD/DVD sleeve but bigger. The standard production is made from a white/white cardboard GC1, thick. 0.48 mm (Arktika 300 g or similar). It is possible to do the production of other materials (papers) or of different grammage, too, but it is always necessary to consult the production ahead. This package enables full-colour printing and application of different finishes:

  • coating with shiny or matt machine varnish,
  • application of shiny and matt lamination,
  • application of partial lacquer (PUV).

It is also possible to combine with:

CD or DVD is placed into a pocket or in the slot of a digisleeve. Booklet is inserted into the slot or a pocket or glued inside a digisleeve.

vinyl (LP) covers

Basic LP case – a wallet – has dimensions 315 x 312 mm. Standard production is made from white/gray or white/white cardboard GC1, thick. 0.48 mm (Arktika 300 g or similar). It is possible to do the production of other materials (papers) or of different grammage too, but it is always necessary to consult the production ahead. This package enables full-colour printing and application of different finishes:

  • coating with shiny or matt machine varnish,
  • application of shiny and matt lamination,
  • application of partial lacquer (PUV).

It is also possible to combine with:

carton wallets

Paper (cardboard) pocket for CD and DVD media. The wallets (sleeves) may be both on mini CD (8 cm) and mini DVD (8 cm) and standard CD and DVD 12 cm. The wallets may have glued or a single (unglued) flap. This cover enables full-colour printing and application of different finishes:

  • coating with shiny or matt machine varnish,
  • application of shiny and matt lamination,
  • application of partial lacquer (PUV).

Sleeve – cardboard pocket for CD and DVD with dimensions of 125 x 125 mm, which is full-colour printable. It is made of white-gray or white-white folding cardboard, 225 g – 285 g depending on the type of the sleeve manufactured.

The sleeves may carry 1 to 4 discs of 8 cm or 12 cm. CDs or DVDs are either inserted into the slot, or placed into a pocket that may have different cut-outs – thumb, curved, rectangular…

The sleeves may have a glued or a single flap. It is possible to make a cut or pocket for booklet into the flap.

Sleeves up to A5 size are used most often as a package insert in newspapers and magazines. We also make other types of paper sleeves on client request.

coated box (clamshell)

Production of coated boxes. The corpus material for the production of coated box is smooth machine cardboard with a weight of 600 to 1250 g/m2. For luxurious versions the white/white cardboard from 1000 to 1,200 g/m2 is most suitable. The material for the coating is typically made of glossy paper of 90 to 200 g/m2 grammage, as well as buckram of different colour shades, flocked materials (velvet surface), or metallic foils. The inside of the box can also be coated in the same or another coating material.

For more luxury boxes flocked paper, velvet or silk or other die-cut inserts (2D and 3D) can be used for the inserts.
A window can be cut in the lid of the box and transparent film glued in.
It is used as a more luxurious package of CD or DVD editions, gift packages, etc.

CD and DVD gift cards

A printed matter that can be used for advertising and presentation purposes.

We also offer making a greeting cards with CD or DVD, including the processing of a graphic design according to your most demanding requirements. That card can be sent as a PF card, invitation, may notify of a significant event, action or anniversary of a company. Gift cards fit into a regular envelope and can be distributed by post.

CD or DVD discs can be attached to an adhesive clip or inserted into slot.

Attaching CD on a printed matter by FERMATA, a.s. was approved and registered to the company by the Industrial Property Office as a protected utility model.

Greeting cards can be printed on both sides and in full colour.

Conventional material (paper) used: 300 g glossy paper, but it is possible to do the production of other materials (papers), or of different grammage too.

Mediabook

It is a case with a hard book cover and sewn-in or glued inside leaves.

CD or DVD can be attached in a tray, which is glued inside on the book cover, or can be inserted in paper pockets (sleeves) that are part of the block or are glued on the cover.

Slipcases

Slipcase is a cardboard cover, which opens on one side only. Standard production is carried out from white/gray or white/white cardboard GC1, thick. 0.48 mm (Arktika 300 g or similar). It is possible to carry out the production of other materials (papers) or of different grammage, too, but it is always necessary to consult the production ahead. This cover enables full-colour printing and application of different finishes:

  • coating with shiny or matt machine varnish,
  • application of shiny and matt lamination,
  • application of partial lacquer (PUV).

It is also possible to combine with:
